Kim Kesti... how does she do it?

Kim agreed to be our next Featured Scrapper and this woman can do it all! Kim is a new member of the Paper Crafts team and a soon to be new Momma for the ? time to boot!!! I must admit that I envy THIS lovely space. Make certain you check out Kim's designs- she has a distinctive style that is simply hers.

Thanks Kim! and I am jetting off to AZ this weekend for a quick visit with my eldest daughter, Lauren. I am looking forward to the long awaited visit with her and her boyfriend and the warmer weather in AZ right now vs. the Midwest. Not too much time to see some AZ buddies but I may have to make a stop (or two) in one of AZ's finest LSS :)

Made in the USA

Did we ever mention that 100% of Mustard Moon products are manufactured and packaged in the good 'ole USA? I have had some recent emails asking about our Big Honkin' Rubons and we can proudly say that these babies are made in the US. WE tend to think they are the best out there but we may be slightly prejudiced :)

When Vicki & I purchased the company from Dianne & Stefani we vowed to manufacture our products in the US.

If you have never tried our Rubs I challenge you to do so- you will find them easy to work with and as the expression goes, " they go on like butta".

NEW Featured Scrapper

Amber Tosh has graced the Mustard Moon website with her creations. I must admit that Vicki sent me a "preview" of Amber's work with our papers - THIS layout struck me- this is the vision I had for Opulent Whimsy when we created it! I adore this layout, Amber... thank you for turning my vision into a reality. I am asuming the gorgeous child is one of your five? Your party favors are so sweet with the Sew It Seams line. THIS layout features our Man in the Moon line along with our cardstoock stickers and Big Honkin' Stickers Grunge font in Brown.

Thanks for agreeing to be a featured scrapper at Mustard Moon!

where in the world have I been?

or better titled... my sincere apologizes to Sara Winnick for not checking my last post. I thought I had posted this weeks ago when your Featured Scrapper went up at the site and only now discover that you have gone unmentioned on this blog! I imagine from the "hits" at Mustard Moon's Featured Scrapper that your work has not gone un-noticed :) My personal favorite is this layout featuring our mustard pinstripe and Big Honkin' !Sketchy Stickers ...

Thanks for being our featured scrapper and I am sorry that I did not realize this sooner :(

Projects? Cards? Did someone say...

Melissa Phillips? I have been a HUGE fan of Melissa's work for sometime now and was thrilled when she agreed to be our next featured scrapper! I loved how she combined papers from the collections to create seasonal projects with non-traditional holiday papers. Melissa created a perfect FALL card with our Man in the Moon line, a Halloween project with papers from our Opulent Whimsy line and Holiday projects from Sew it Seams I & II.

I am known to tell customers to use Mustard Moon by thinking outside the theme. Our products lend themselves to a variety of scrapping possibilities. Our color palettes work well together to capture the "mood" when scrapping. Thanks Melissa for proving me correct!

another update...

and kuddos to Sherry Wright our next featured scrapper! Sherry did an amazing job with all three of our latest collections. I LOVE her fall project and her mini book. Sherry used our NEW cardstock stickers on the baby project in cream. Thanks Sherry- I hope you enjoyed working the Mustard Moon on these projects!

I love seeing the work of all our featured scrappers- each & every one of them puts their heart and soul into the projects they create for MuMo and Vicki & I are so grateful for your efforts! Vicki coordinates the featured scrappers and I usually do not see the completed projects until right before the "go live" on the site. So just like all the vistors to our site I am surprised every two weeks!

Congratulations to our Featured Scrapper

Brittany Laakkonen on being named as one of the Memory Makers Masters 2008! When Vicki & I asked the dynamic duo if they would be interested in a Featured Scrapper spot at Mustard Moon we were met with an immediate YES! We loved the fact that they agreed to share the spotlight together. Thanks to both Sharon & Brittany for your projects!

I would be remiss if I did not also congratulate one of our past featured scrappers, Greta Hammond on her win too!

I look forward to the 2008  Masters as they inspire us with their layouts & projects throughout the upcoming year! My hat is off to anyone who has the commitment to complete contest requirements let alone win it! Congratulations to the all the new inductees!

named to Rebecca Ludens Top 12 products from CHA Summer! Our thanks to Rebecca for naming us to her top 12 list once again !Sketchy Big Honkin' Stickers review can be found at about.com-scrapbooking. Previously, Rebecca discovered our Big Honkin' Rubons and gave us a "top pick" so we are thrilled to be recognized one more time for the latest font in our Big Honkin' Sticker line.

!Sketchy was featured recently on the cover of Memory Makers magazine 343_357_popup_2. The cover layout was designed by Vicki Boutin and greeted us as we entered CHA Summer in the Memory Makers Booth. Vicki used our latest font in the title "days". Thanks Vicki!

"It's" that time again...

Kelly Lautenbach has created some fantastic projects for her "featured scrapper" at Mustard Moon! A BIG shout out to Kelly for taking time away from "it" to be one of our latest featured scrapper. Loving that clock and I must admit that I would never get anything done either, Kelly!  Be sure to check out Kelly's use of corrugated cardboard on her "almost perfect" layout- and Kelly proves that a little patterned paper does go a long way! Kelly has teamed up our Big Honkin' Rubons in RED with a combination of papers in this layout. She uses our NEW cardstick stickers in brown on her notebook. These stickers are 3/4 " and perfect for smaller titles, sub-titles, journaling and cards!!!

thanks to all who stop by but don't forget to leave a comment so we know you have been checking us out!
